version in force on the date of your acceptance. The current version is
always available at revelia.ai/legal/terms.
If you do not accept these Terms, do not use the Service.
3. The Service: what Revelia is, and what it is not
3.1 What Revelia is
Revelia is a conversational product for playful psychological
self-exploration, personal reflection and wellbeing. It is an
entertainment and self-discovery experience. You bring a topic, and the
Service responds with insights drawn from two perspectives: science and
wisdom traditions.
3.2 What Revelia is NOT
Revelia is not a medical device. Revelia is not therapy, counseling or
psychotherapy. Revelia is not a diagnosis, a treatment or a cure.
Revelia is not a substitute for consultation with a qualified health
professional.
The Service does not assess, diagnose, treat, prevent or monitor any
disease, injury, disability or health condition. It is not intended to
be used for any medical purpose.
You acknowledge and accept the playful, exploratory and non-medical
nature of the Service. Any decision you take after a Conversation is
your own and your sole responsibility.
3.3 If you are in distress
The Service is not designed for crisis situations. If you are in
psychological distress or considering harming yourself, please contact
emergency support without delay:
Netherlands: 113 Suicide Prevention, call 113 or 0800-0113 (free, 24/7)
Singapore: Samaritans of Singapore (SOS) 1767 (24/7)
Australia: Lifeline 13 11 14 (24/7)
United States: 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline
Elsewhere: contact your local emergency services.
The Service may display these resources during a Conversation. You
agree to seek this professional help when needed.
4. Eligibility: 18 years and older only
The Service is strictly reserved for persons aged 18 years or
older.
When you create an Account or begin using the Service, you declare on
your honor that you are at least 18 years old.
The Service is not designed for minors and is not safe for users under
18. We do not knowingly allow any person under 18 to use the Service.
If we discover that a User is under 18, we will close the Account
immediately and delete the associated data, in accordance with our
Privacy Policy.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe a minor has used the
Service, contact contact@revelia.ai
and we will act promptly.
5. Accounts
You may use the Free Tier through an Anonymous Session, within the
limits described on the Pricing Page.
To use paid features and to keep your Conversation history, you must
create an Account. You agree to provide accurate information, to keep
your credentials confidential, and to be responsible for all activity
under your Account. Notify us immediately at
contact@revelia.ai of any
unauthorized use.
6. Acceptable use
When using the Service, you agree NOT to:
Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
Submit content that is illegal, hateful, harassing, defamatory or that incites violence.

Use automated tools or bots to access the Service.
Resell, sublicense or share Account access.
Breach of this section may lead to suspension or termination without
refund.
7. The AI: nature and limits
Responses in the Sanctuary are generated by artificial intelligence (a
large language model supplied by Anthropic). They are not written by a
human, and not by a health, legal or financial professional.
AI-generated content may be incomplete, inaccurate, or may contain
errors. It is provided for reflection and entertainment. It is not
professional advice. Always consult a qualified professional for
medical, legal, financial or psychological matters.
8. Pricing and payment
8.1 Where prices are published
The prices, plans and free allowances applicable to the Service are
published on the Pricing Page at revelia.ai/pricing. Prices may vary
depending on your country of residence, the plan chosen (duration,
features), and any promotion in effect.
8.2 The Effective Price
The price that applies to you is the Effective Price:
the price displayed to you at Checkout, which you accept by confirming
payment. By completing Checkout, you accept the Effective Price for
the plan you selected.
8.3 Price changes
We may change our prices at any time. A change of price does not
affect a Subscription already in progress. A new price applies only
at the next renewal, and we will notify you of any renewal price
increase by email at least 30 days in advance. You may cancel before
the renewal if you do not accept the new price.
8.4 Free Tier changes
The Free Tier (its scope, the number of free Conversations or
messages) is described on the Pricing Page and may change over time.
Changes to the Free Tier do not affect a paid Subscription in
progress.
8.5 Payment processing
Payments are processed by Stripe, our payment service provider,
through the Stripe entity competent for your region (for example,
Stripe Payments Europe Limited, Ireland, for users in the European
Union). By providing payment information you also accept Stripe's
applicable terms. We do not store full payment card numbers on our
servers.
8.6 Recurring payment
A Subscription is a recurring payment. You authorize us, through
Stripe, to charge your payment method automatically at each renewal.
For users in the European Union, payments comply with Strong Customer
Authentication under Directive PSD2.
9. Duration, renewal and cancellation
9.1 Duration and renewal
A Subscription has an indefinite duration and renews automatically by
tacit renewal at the end of each billing period (monthly or annual),
at the Effective Price, until you cancel.
9.2 Cancellation by you
You may cancel your Subscription at any time, directly from your
Account interface, in a few clicks, without giving a reason and
without contacting us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the
current paid period. You keep access until that date. No partial
refund is due for an unused part of a period, except where required
by law or by our refund policy in Section 10.
9.3 Cancellation by us
We may suspend or terminate your access in case of breach of these
Terms, unlawful use or abuse. Except in case of serious or unlawful
conduct, we will inform you and give you a reasonable opportunity to
respond before termination.
9.4 Effects of termination
On termination, access to paid features ends at the close of the paid
period. Your data is kept or deleted in accordance with our Privacy
Policy. You may request deletion of your data at any time.
10. Right of withdrawal and refunds
10.1 Statutory right of withdrawal (European Union)
If you are a consumer resident in the European Union, you have a
right of withdrawal of 14 calendar days from the conclusion of the
contract, in accordance with Directive 2011/83/EU. A standard
withdrawal form is available at the end of this document.
10.2 Waiver for digital services
The Service is a digital service supplied immediately. If you ask to
start using the Service before the end of the 14-day period, and you
expressly acknowledge that you will lose your right of withdrawal
once the service is fully performed, you waive your right of
withdrawal for the part already performed. This waiver is recorded by
a dedicated checkbox at Checkout, in accordance with applicable
consumer law (in France, article L221-28 of the Consumer Code).
10.3 Commercial money-back guarantee (all users)
Independently of any statutory right, we offer a commercial
guarantee: if, within 7 days of your first paid charge, you do not
feel the Service is right for you, write to
contact@revelia.ai and we will
refund that first charge in full, without requiring a reason.
10.4 Users outside the European Union
Users outside the European Union do not benefit from the statutory
withdrawal right described in 10.1, but they benefit from the
commercial guarantee in 10.3, and from any mandatory consumer
protection of their country of residence (see Country Annexes).
11. User content and intellectual property
11.1 Your content
You remain the owner of your User Content (the narratives and
information you share in the Sanctuary). You grant us a limited,
non-exclusive license to host, process and analyze your User Content
for the sole purpose of operating the Service for you.
11.2 What we never do
We will never use your User Content to train, fine-tune or evaluate
artificial intelligence models. We will never sell your User Content.
We will never share it, except where strictly required by law.
11.3 Our content
We own all rights in the Platform, the Service, the Revelia brand and
logo, the prompts, the psychological taxonomy, and the generated
Insight as a system. You receive a personal, non-transferable,
non-exclusive right to use the Service under these Terms. You may
keep and use the Insight you receive for your own personal purposes.
11.4 Restrictions
You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, reverse engineer
or scrape any part of the Platform.
12. Personal data
The collection and processing of Personal Data is described in our
Privacy Policy, available at
revelia.ai/legal/privacy. The Privacy Policy is an integral part of
your relationship with us.
You have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction,
objection and portability over your Personal Data, as detailed in the
Privacy Policy. To exercise them, contact
contact@revelia.ai.
13. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
13.1 Service provided "as is"
The Service is provided as a discovery, reflection and entertainment
experience, on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not warrant
that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free or fit for any
particular purpose, except where mandatory law provides otherwise.
13.2 No liability for interpretation or decisions
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:
any medical, psychological or therapeutic interpretation of content produced by the Service;
any decision you take on the basis of content produced by the Service;
any moral, emotional or psychological harm alleged to result from use of the Service.
You acknowledge that you understood the playful and exploratory
nature of the Service.
13.3 Cap on liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any
claim relating to the Service is limited to the total amount you paid
us during the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
13.4 Mandatory consumer rights
Nothing in this section limits or excludes any right you have as a
consumer that cannot be limited or excluded under the mandatory law
of your country of residence. In particular, the consumer guarantees
under the Australian Consumer Law cannot be excluded (see Annex E).
14. Prohibited use cases
The Service must not be used:
by any person under 18;
by a person in an active suicidal or psychiatric crisis (please use the emergency resources in Section 3.3);
by a health professional to assess or treat their patients;
for any commercial purpose without our written agreement;
to attempt to jailbreak, abuse or compromise the Service.
15. Force majeure
We are not liable for any failure or delay caused by an event beyond
our reasonable control, including outages or failures of third-party
providers on which the Service depends (in particular Anthropic,
Voyage AI, Supabase, Vercel and Stripe), network failures, and acts
of public authorities.
16. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. We will notify you of any material change
at least 30 days before it takes effect, by email or by a notice
within the Service. If you continue using the Service after the
change takes effect, you accept the new version. If you do not accept
it, you may cancel your Subscription free of charge before the change
takes effect.
17. Governing law and jurisdiction
17.1 Consumers in the European Union
If you are a consumer resident in the European Union, you benefit
from the mandatory consumer protection of your country of residence.
Your contract is governed by the law of your country of residence,
and you may bring proceedings before the courts of your domicile.
17.2 Other users
For users outside the European Union, and for matters not covered by
mandatory local consumer law, these Terms are governed by the law of
the State of Wyoming, United States, without prejudice to the
mandatory consumer protections of the user's country of residence
described in the Country Annexes.
17.3 Amicable resolution and mediation
Before any legal action, we ask you to contact us at
contact@revelia.ai so we can
seek an amicable solution. Consumers in the European Union may also
use the European Online Dispute Resolution platform:
ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
Consumers in France may refer the matter to a consumer mediator (see
Annex A).
18. Final provisions
If any provision of these Terms is held invalid, the remaining
provisions remain in full effect. These Terms, together with the
Privacy Policy, form the entire agreement between you and Seraphie
LLC regarding the Service. Section headings are for convenience only.
In case of conflict between language versions, the version in the
